Do you have a hobby creating some unique handmade products? Why don’t turn it into a business? The process is relatively simple. Create your product, take good photos, write a description and post it on a platform of your choice. Etsy is one of the most popular platforms for sale of handmade products. However, there are lots of other options. For example, Amazon Handmade or Artfire. Most platforms have a small fee for selling the products but usually it is up to 15% commission fee.

Love writing? Becoming a freelance writer or a content writer might be a great option for you! All you need is a laptop, a good internet connection, and an ability to write. There are lots of different platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer etc. Freelance writers do a variety of jobs, from writing short social media posts to writing content for ebooks, articles, etc. So, depending on what you like you can choose from lots of different opportunities and enjoy working from wherever you want.

 

3. Freelance Graphic Designer

Similarly to freelance writers, graphic designers require some skill to begin with. If you are proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or some other softwares, this job might be for you! You can create a portfolio website and start promoting your business. 

Usually, you will complete different projects for different people. You can also use platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelance etc. to help you find new clients. This business gives you full control of what,how, and where you are going to teach. Lots of content creators started out with just telling about their experience doing certain things and then turned it into a full-time job of teaching their courses to others.

Having a good work-space is very important when starting working from home. Nobody would feel productive when sitting at the dining table with lots of noise and distractions.
