Business Development
Supporting education and innovation.
As Southwest Colorado’s hub of academic excellence, Fort Lewis College is positioned to help lead the region into the next era of economic development and social/scientific progress. Guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees and strategic plan focused on community responsiveness, Fort Lewis College is bolstered by a core group of deans and faculty who not only realize the economic potential for the Four Corners but also have the expertise to address regional issues and take the next steps toward sustainable growth.
In order to stimulate economic development throughout our region, these talented forces are proud to present FLC’s latest endeavor: the Center for Innovation, a centralized location for business development, entrepreneurship, pre-incubation, incubation, and business acceleration.

What People Are Saying
“The booking process is super simple. On the morning I decided to use a co-working space for the day, I followed the 3 steps on the Center website. I downloaded the Proximity app and used the digital key to admit myself to the Center. I continued my workday without a hitch.”
— Jeanne, Community Member
“The Innovation Center is a great location to host meetings. The space is well equipped; from various sized rooms, comfortable furniture, approachable AV equipment, and well managed on-site services. For those looking for a great central location, as well as a quiet and inviting space – I highly recommend!”
